Our Mission

The Nebraska Sportsmen's Foundation works on behalf of current and future generations to protect and guarantee the right to pursue the time-honored traditions of fishing, trapping, hunting and other related activities, for every Nebraskan, in eternity, through legislative action, public awareness and education.

The Nebraska Sportsmen's Foundation (NSF) was formed in 2002 by sportsmen's for sportsmen's as a not-for-profit 501(c)3, to be a liaison to the Nebraska Legislative Sportsmen's Forum (NLSF). The NSF and the NLSF was created through mutual concerns for the future of fishing, trapping, hunting and shooting traditions. The NSF consists of an Executive Director ,a six member Executive Board, Advisory Council, members and sponsors. The Advisory Council will advise the NSF Executive Director and Executive Board on issues of concern related to outdoor activities. The NSF, Advisory Council and NLSF will work towards an agenda to ensure that our rights and outdoor opportunities are protected for future generations.
